The taphophile community has become such an extended family that it just seems like a great idea to come together in a fun way. And what's more fun than food? Well, any true taphophile will say "a cemetery," but you know what I mean! The cookbook, with the working title "Wake Me When It's Over: A Cookbook for Taphophiles the World Over," will hopefully feature recipes from all across the world. That's where you come in! Recipes may be old family favorites, traditional dishes served at wakes or other events of mourning, foods from festivals (such as El Dia de Muerte), etc. The cookbook will be ready for purchase this fall, just in time for the holidays. So send those recipes in soon! Submission guidelines: - Recipes must be yours (not pulled from other sites) - Include your name (as you want it listed), city and state - Include brief information, if you like, about the recipe and why it means something to you (passed down in the family, a tradition, something new you concocted and why, etc. - Limit of three recipes per person - Deadline is Aug. 15 Once you submit your recipe, you will be entered in a contest to win a free copy of the finished book! Plus, you can also submit a photo or artwork for cover consideration. If your cover is selected, you'll receive a free book and the eternal glory of having your cover in print!
