A Book of Cemetery-inspired Poetry and Art

Submit your original poetry or artwork and help save a cemetery!

Cost: $5 per poem or piece of artwork (if snail-mailed) or $5.30 each if paid via PayPal (to cover their fees) and poems/artwork e-mailed

Save a Cemetery
Do you know of a cemetery that needs help? Submit it to the “What Remains to Be Seen” poetry book contest, and it could win a cash donation from TheCemeteryClub.com and Epitaphs Magazine.

Cemetery Submission Rules:
1. Cemetery (or cemetery organization) must be a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization.
2. Cemetery must be in need of assistance.
3. Only one cemetery submission per person.
4. Submissions must be e-mailed to [email protected].
5. Include name and location of cemetery as well as why you think the cemetery should be selected (500 words or less).
6. Deadline for submissions is Sept. 15, 2009.
7. Top submitted cemeteries will be posted in late September on TheCemeteryClub.com for voting.


Poetry Submission Rules:
1. Submission rate is $5 (or $5.30 if processed electronically to cover PayPal fees) per poem (no limit). Fifty percent of fee will go to the selected cemetery, while the other half will go toward processing.
2. Poetry must be original.
3. Poetry must not have appeared in another anthology.
4. Multiple submissions may be mailed together.
5. All entries must include:
a. Author/artist’s name
b. Author/artist’s mailing address
c. Author/artist’s e-mail
d. Submission fee ($5 per poem or artwork submitted by snail mail; $5.30 for PayPal payments, to cover PayPal fees)
e. Poems and/or artwork (do not send originals, as they will not be returned)
6. All entries must be mailed. E-mailed entries will not be accepted.
7. All entries must be typed (for clarity) and include author/artist’s name, mailing address, and e-mail address on each sheet.
8. Must be cemetery-related in theme. No extreme violence or adult-material, please.

Prizes:
